"Equify has been a strategic tool for us, supporting us throughout our growth-from our Series A round through to our acquisition. Not only did the platform ensure our regulatory compliance, but it also saved us valuable time when interacting with our investors and during the acquisition process."
A single source for all our corporate needs
Amid rapid growth and successive rounds of fundraising, Elevo faced the challenge of effectively managing its capital while ensuring regulatory compliance. Find out how Elevo made Equify its single source of information for all corporate matters and streamlined the legal due diligence related to its shareholder structure during its exit transaction.

About Elevo
Founded in 2017, Elevo is a French company specializing in performance and talent management. Its HR platform enables more than 400 companies to build high-performing and engaged teams by leveraging their HR data in practical ways. In July 2025, Elevo joined the Assessio Group, a major European player in predictive assessment. Together, they form an integrated HR platform that is unique in Europe, at the intersection of science, data, and AI.
About Thibault
An engineer by training, Thibaut Vilon began his professional career in the United States. He spent four years at Apple’s headquarters in California, where he oversaw the internationalization of Mac OS. He then moved to Switzerland to join Google, where he served as Project Lead for the YouTube infrastructure team. Driven by his interest in human resources and management, and drawing on the solid technical background he gained through these experiences, he co-founded Elevo in 2017 with Étienne le Scaon.
A verified registry
Elevo adopted Equify in 2021 during its first round of funding with a venture capital firm, at a time when the company was experiencing significant growth after having already completed pre-seed and seed rounds. At this critical juncture, the company realized it did not yet have a Share Register (RMT), a document required by law for all corporations.
"Our attorney recommended Equify as the ideal solution for Elevo," explains Thibaut, CEO of Elevo. "We needed a reliable platform that would not only allow us to create our legal registry but also facilitate our management of investor relations." This decision was part of a regulatory compliance effort, which was essential to securing their new round of funding.
A Single Source of Truth
One of Equify's main advantages, as highlighted by Thibaut, is its reliability as a single source of information. Unlike Excel spreadsheets or documents scattered across Google Drive, Equify centralizes all cap table data in a single, secure location.
This reliability is crucial, especially when making important decisions or communicating with investors, where the accuracy of information is paramount.
"When I need to verify information about our shareholder base, I go straight to Equify, because I know it's accurate. It's the definitive source I can trust 100 percent."
Easier collaboration
The platform also stands out for its unique navigation interface, as Thibaut explains: "It has a navigation system you won't find anywhere else." Equify offers several ways to access information-by shareholder, by date, or by transaction-making it easy to view transaction history and get either a general overview or detailed information, depending on your needs.
"What's really powerful is that you can find any piece of information in several different ways. You'll never find that kind of flexibility on Drive or in traditional folders." Thibault, CEO of Elevo
This intuitive navigation structure makes it much easier to access critical information, even for users who are not familiar with the complexities of cap tables. In addition, the ability to generate a cap table for any date in the past is a significant advantage when collaborating with investors.
"Every year, my investors would ask me for a breakdown of their shares by class and by fund. Thanks to Equify, I could provide them with that information in just three clicks, while being completely confident in the reliability of the data. It’s great to be able to view the complete history and answer shareholders’ questions with such confidence."
Exit with Equify
Assessio's acquisition of Elevo in July 2025 highlighted another major advantage of Equify: its ability to significantly streamline legal due diligence processes. The platform proved particularly valuable during this critical phase.
"The reports generated by Equify allowed us to easily export all the information needed for acquisition audits. Our complete confidence in our RMT and the ability to quickly export our cap table have transformed what could have been a laborious process into a much smoother procedure." Thibault, CEO of Elevo
Thibaut points out that this feature gave him considerable peace of mind during the intense audit period. He knew that all the information provided was accurate and up-to-date, and he could instantly retrieve supporting documents for every question asked by the auditors.
"During due diligence, buyers ask very specific questions about the ownership history. With Equify, I felt completely confident in my answers. I could easily locate and share all relevant documents, which greatly facilitated the acquisition process and bolstered the buyers’ confidence."
